The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Moldova has refused to hold areferendum on joining the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus andKazakhstan, that was initiated by the Social Democratic Party. Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to discuss formation of a parliament within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union, RIA Novosti reports.Putin met Russian Speaker of Parliament Sergey Naryshkin, who noted that Russian, Belarusian and Kazakh experts formed a working group for the parliament. The parliament will be formed at the Eurasian Economic Union and then the Eurasian Union.Putin will visit Belarus between May 31 – June 1 and Kazakhstan on June 7.
